From workbooks passed around by email to a business ready for AI

  1. 01

We map how your company really runs

We read every formula, hidden sheet and macro, and follow the work from one workbook to the next and through the inbox. The Operating Manual writes down what each step really does, in plain words.

  2. 02

We show where the money is

The Opportunity Map ranks every task worth fixing, automating or handing to AI, such as copy and paste between workbooks or a month-end built by hand, by what it saves a year and what it costs to build.

  3. 03

We rebuild it as one connected system

The workbooks become one web app with logins, roles, dashboards that flag problems early and a record of every change. Anyone who likes spreadsheets can still export to Excel.

  4. 04

It becomes the base for AI

With your numbers in one well-described place, automations and AI tools plug in safely, one at a time, each measured against what it saves.

Which versions of Excel are out of support?

Excel 2016 and Excel 2019 lost support on 14 October 2025. Support for Excel 2021 ended on 13 October 2026. Excel in Microsoft 365 carries on.

Support is only part of it. A workbook that runs the business often works on one person's PC, breaks when two people open it, and has no record of who changed what.

What happens to each part of your workbook

In the old system
What it becomes
Formulas
Written down in plain words with worked examples, then built into the new app.
Macros (VBA)
Read line by line. Each action is written down for you to confirm, then automated in the new app.
Hidden sheets and lookup tables
Managed tables with an owner, so a price change no longer means editing a cell.
Steps people do by hand
Copy, paste, sort, email. Written down as steps, then automated where the Opportunity Map shows it pays.
Links to other workbooks
Mapped, then connected, replaced or built in.

Excel to web app with AI: what to watch for

  1. 01

    Instant spreadsheet-to-app tools

Good when The workbook is simple and you want screens on top of a table quickly.

Watch for They copy the cells. They cannot tell you how the workbook is really used, which steps are old mistakes, or where AI would pay off.

  2. 02

Hire a developer to rewrite it

Good when You have a developer you trust and time to explain every step.

Watch for Without the steps written down first, the rewrite depends on what people remember. Rewrites usually fail on the step nobody knew was there.

  3. 03

    Rebuild it with us

Good when AI does the first read of every formula and macro. A person checks each step, you confirm it, and the Opportunity Map shows what to automate first.

Watch for It takes about an hour a week of someone's time who knows the workbook.

If an off-the-shelf product fits you better, the X-Ray says so. You keep the Operating Manual either way.

Questions

Can we still export to Excel?

Yes. The new app can export any list or report to Excel, so the people who like spreadsheets keep them for analysis.

Where could AI help with our workbooks?

Wherever people copy, check or summarize by hand, such as drafting quotes from the price list, flagging numbers that look wrong or writing the month-end summary. The Opportunity Map ranks each one by what it saves a year.

Can several people use it at once?

Yes. Logins, roles and a record of every change come as standard, so you can see who changed a price and when.

Nobody understands our macros. Is that a problem?

No. That is what the Business X-Ray is for. It reads every macro line by line and writes down what it does, in plain words, for you to check. The free AI Readiness Check gives you an estimate on screen first.
